I have colonoscopies every 3 years and an annual MRI for another issue. Great doctor in Dr. Contreras. That’s why I keep going there. His office staff need improving. It took me 4 phone calls over a 3-week period to get the referral I needed for an MRI.
I’ve had a few procedures(colonoscopies and an endoscopy) performed at this center. Although having these procedures isn’t desirable, Dr. Hanysak and the rest of the team put my mind at ease during my recent colonoscopy. Their professionalism, reassurance and compassion was what I needed, especially during these unprecedented times. My anesthesiologist was very reassuring and told me to relax and have sweet dreams. I was comfortable and felt I was in good hands with her and Dr. Hanysak taking care of me. Job well done team! I appreciate each of you.
This was my 5th colonoscopy and by far the treatment I received before, during, and after was 5 stars. I have a couple of health issues that were dealt with with respect and care. Shawna, Morgan, and Melissa were professional, friendly, and caring as they got me ready for the procedure and afterward. Dr. Levings and my Anesthesiologist took the time to talk to me, ask questions, and allow me to ask questions. The pharmacy I use couldn't get the chosen prep in time for my appointment and a call to Dr. Leving's office took care of the situation. They had a sample in the office and I could come by and pick it up. I love the follow-up texts to be sure that I am okay. All in all, a great experience for a procedure that has some very unpleasant moments before you even get there. Thank you to Dr. Levings and her staff and to the great nurses at WacoGastroEndo.
